The decline of pure diesel powered cars in Europe is even more dramatic than pure gasoline ones.
Diesel engines continue their slippery slope, with market share falling from 10.4 percent in 2024 to 7.7 percent last year. In its heyday, diesel peaked at over 50 percent roughly a decade ago.
I would note the LC70 is a great seller in the Middle East and Africa as well serving the same roles in Australia...and maybe a few many terrorists.
Hopefully Ford can move into the LC70's market without the latter use issue.
Interesting given the flips on restarting Indian production. Maybe this is why they canceled restarting production there.
This would give Ford a plant to build non-BOF vehicles since the Ranger and Everest dominate the other plant.
Take 100" with a grain of salt. Snow is an excellent insulator, and with a foot or more on the ground, the frost line isn't all that deep. One of our cats died in December many years back, and I had no problem digging a grave once I cleared away the 18" of snow.
We generally run things 36" or deeper here in central MO. I hadn't seen a map with those requirements before, but it's interesting to see. 100" up north...wow!
Fooled around with the adjustments on the ride height sensors today. I lowered the front about 1" and the rear about 1-1/2".
I can go maybe another 1/2" lower on the rear but then it looks like one of those Carolina ass-draggers. 😁
