Don't know how much opportunity it will end up being.  From what I hear GM has known for nearly 2 years that International would not be renewing the contract because they ultimately planned to sell the Springfield plant.  This also explains why GM never updated the Silverado mediums as they had supposedly planned (gasoline engine, air brakes, etc.).  Rumor is that GM looked at partnering with another truck manufacturer to continue the program but may have decided (like Ford) to bring their medium duty truck back 'in-house'.    

Whoops, I read it as Model Y.     Seems like it - we've been hearing the same "wait, it's coming!!" for however many years now.......shit or get off the pot lol. We're at least hopefully closer to something sometime this year.  Unfortunately, it seems like Ford is going with its obnoxiously long time between debut and on-sale date.

Yea, pretty much. Ford’s big shots don’t have much else interesting to talk about amid the current drought of new product introductions. So why not embellish Jimbo’s fantasy of chasin’ Tesla with vague and meaningless prattle? 

Or is this just Farley restating that Ford is working on all these things with no clear indication of delivery timeline?

I saw someone say that it looks like Hyundai had photos of all these off-roaders, and gave them to ChatGTP and told it to generate an AI design that combined elements from all of them. 

I've only seen 1 Silverado MD in the wild. Meanwhile I probably see a dozen F-450/550/600 a day. 

The mach-e is a model Y rival, but not a model 3. But something like that affordable RWD performance sedan would rival the model 3 nicely. 

Agreed - just about anything would've been better lol.     Sure, though I don't think Expedition has ever had any retro-looking stripes. The most "retro"-like thing Expedition wise that I can think of would be the 2-tone tan paint from the Eddie Bauer models.

I was under the impression that at least F-150 was a 2028 MY, meaning a 2027 debut?     Mach E?  lol
