I remember they pared it down recently, but sounds like it's not gone far enough and/or the wrong combos are being ordered.
I thought they were prioritizing orders over stock? Or did they switch back?
I wonder if they'll do a Fox-body style liftback (or Evos/4-series GT, for more similar reference) as a Mustang "sedan" instead of a traditional sedan. This would let them keep the same profile while retaining some practicality.
I'm guessing because Multimatic has the space to do it. The GTD is way over the top for average buyers and they still have the gap that the GT500 used to fill pricewise.
But here is the thing-its not about you alone-its the market overall. There are lots of things I want from Ford, but I know most of them aren't practical.
I saw the sales numbers before, the Evos wasn't doing well at all. The Mondeo sedan and Equator Sport (new Territory) were Ford's stronger models.
I'm surprised they didn't export the Evos. The Mondeo is exported to the Middle East as the new Taurus.
New color on the Mondeo Sport looks good.

Total System output of the hybrid 2.0L EcoBoost is 227kW (304hp).
Ford lost billions in sedans because they didn't handle the sedan business as well as its Asian rivals which always have the global market in their sights.
*In Asia-Pacific, the PowerShift dry dual-clutch transmission damaged the image of small Ford cars and crossovers.
Thank you both. My understanding and my dealers understanding was the same about window stickers (and invoices) not being available until after port arrival. 6 weeks from departure to on a rail car seems reasonable.
My ship date April 28th Arrived in Port May 24th looks like it was loaded to rail car June 8th. My window sticker was available shortly after it left port of Shanghai. But I could not get anymore tracking until it was scanned at the off load.
There were mentions of some other product, but Fuzzy said he hasn't heard really anything about in in recent months. So whatever that is, it's probably been canceled, or it's something so special that Ford is gonna do whatever they can to keep it under wraps.
Farley is openly discussing multiple mustang body styles at this point, so it could be something pertaining to that, or it could be the c2 Mondeo. Perhaps something else entirely, most likely car based.
