Hopefully, Ford will fix the 2024 Ranger blunder for 2025 and offer 4A, rear seat vents, and ventilated seats at least on Lariat. Canyon/Colorado offer all these features on multiple trims, Tacoma has ventilated seats on multiple trims. Overhead console with auxiliary switches should be optional on all trims as is offered on Canyon/Colorado and Tacoma.
You should be able to disable the warnings through the menu settings (not the button to silence them while the alerts are active).
As for the double honk, just don’t close the door all the way. Or use Forscan to change it but that requires a laptop and knowing what code to change.
(I asked this same general question on another Lincoln forum, so my apologies to anyone who's reading a re-run)
I recently purchased a 2014 MKS 3.7 and am trying to learn more about permanently turning off the Driver Assist features: front and rear park aids, cross traffic, and blind spot warning -- so I don't have to do it everytime I start the car (I'd also like to shut off the horn honk when I leave the car with the engine running, but if I could figure out the first question, I wouldn't mind shutting off the ignition). The owner's manual states that at least the latter two can be switched off by a dealer. I know nothing about the computer aspect of all this, but I certainly keep coming across FORScan in my research. Is ForScan worth pursuing on my own, or am I better off going to a dealer? Or can a good independent garage handle such things?
Here's Why Jeep Ditched The Wagoneer Sub Brand (carbuzz.com)
I didn't even realize apparently Jeep is ditching the Wagoneer sub brand idea.....which makes the idea of naming this model "Wagoneer S" even more confusing.

Ford of Europe is currently ramping up production of the all-new electric Ford Explorer and is set to introduce a second EV based on its platform soon. But the Ford executive responsible for bringing the company’s European division into a more electrified age has just resigned and will head back to Volkswagen, where he spent his entire career before joining the Blue Oval.
Maybe the title of the news must be: “A VW man return to the company, after destroyed the competitor Ford”
This is incredible…. This is the man responsable for desmanteling the Ford line up in Europe… and now return, triunfant , to his company, VW
😠
Hey everyone, new member from Central Indiana here! Worked at the Ford, later Visteon, later ACH Steering Systems plant on the East Side of Indianapolis for about 20 years before the plant closed. Retired now and driving a 2022 F-150 Lightning PRO.
BINGO...with their population and basic lack of choices their sales numbers are self sustaining ...COMPLETELY mis-leading IMO...and Ill be inmterested if their cars after being retrofitted with whatever Europe deems necessary in regards to regulations, if they actually DO make inroads ( at least without serious backing and subsidies from their GOVT )
