I'm with akirby on this. It's an appearance package, not a full ST, giving the ST look without the ST parts. That doesn't make it an ST. Same with how BMW does M-sport models that are the M looks without the M powertrain - that doesn't mean it's an M.

I think you are confused, the ST Line has the hybrid and 1.5L as the available engine choices. We have a 23, and it has the 1.5L.
HotRunrGuy
There are THREE different ST-Line Escapes available, the base has the 1.5 3cyl, the Select & Elite get the 2.0 4cyl. HRG

Lost that tough and cohesive look.
mackinaw
Not much of a difference from the current model, to me.
92merc
With those wheels, I'm guessing the plug in hybrid. But I'm not seeing a plug in port. I like the lights, but prefer the current grille.

Those wheels look like the Oz rally wheels on the Mach E Rally

I don't love the grille, but the headlights look good. I actually think there's too much body color with painting the lower trim and bed-side trim.....I like the painted rear bumper better, but think the "inside" (where the hitch/plate goes) should've remained black. This model also has a black painted roof. 6 minutes ago, silvrsvt said: Ford Authority is claiming its a Lariat trim of the Maverick https://fordauthority.com/2024/05/2025-ford-maverick-lariat-spotted-completely-uncovered/ Well, it has a Lariat badge...it could be a "sport" (placeholder name) trim in the way that FX-4 can now be applied pretty much across the board on F-150s now (vs. before how it was a standalone trim). I doubt all Lariats will look like this.
ExplorerDude
1 hour ago, silvrsvt said: Maybe they'll be offering different grills for different trims? Yes, like the current Maverick, they will all have different grille inserts. Those are the new headlights every Maverick will have. This is the Lobo/ST with its own front fascia and grille insert. The regular Maverick XL, XLT, Lariats will have a face similar to the new Ranger.
Andrew L
I wonder if the wheels are just placeholder wheels and not final.
