2004 Lincoln LS for sale in Wexford - 1LNHM86S14Y616923 - Wright Automotive Group (wrightcars.com)
Saw this posted in an LS group. I had an 04 V6 equipped the same as this one but mine was Pearl White (Cashmere Tri Coat) and looking through these photos brought back a lot of great memories.
The price they are asking is way too high but this is probably one of the last LS's at this low of miles sadly. I know there are a few folks from the LLSOC on this board too and figured they would appreciate this.
My 04 LS was my favorite car I owned till my 17 MKZ Black Label. It handled so well and driving it felt special. I know a lot of Ford guys for some reason don't like the LS because "ItS jUsT a JaGuAr" which isn't true but still holds that image in many eyes.
Thought you guys would appreciate it though.
Pretty sure that's a cover for where the Pro Power Onboard goes if you don't have that option. No idea what it's called. Maybe I should get the dimensions and start 3D printing and selling them...sounds like it may be an oft-replaced piece!
Martin Sander was also key in the project of how Ford took two MEB based vehicles
and basically changed most things to make them better lower cost vehicles that are
less labor intense to build. A big reason why this guy will be extremely important to VW.
I can’t help feeling that as good as the E Explorer and Capri will be, Ford has already
moved way beyond them with its own design architecture coming in a couple of years.
What did Neville Chamberlin say in '38 upon his return to England after meeting with Hitler?.."I have secured peace for our time".
This guy must have said the same thing to Bill Ford when he got the job😎
God's honest truth? I spent five years in China. We gave everything to our joint ventures. And those of us that didn't want to leave China for various reasons agreed to work for Chinese companies. While there is undoubtedly Chinese espionage, there's also simply the hiring of foreign experts. The number of job offers I got and the level of salary that was offered guaranteed this. I wanted to be home after five years, but I'm from the USA. Folks from South Africa, India, etc.? I don't blame them for taking the foreign specialist salaries and spilling our IP.
Chinese cars 10 years ago? Get in one and prepare to die. Today? Honestly, probably not on par with our own standards, but damned close. Close enough not to matter for 95% of crashes. Only pertinent if you're one of the 5% of unlucky assholes. .
Crazy how small changes in testing change the safety results of the suvs. Wonder how the armada and sequoia would do.
Hopefulli the designers of the my25 were able to toughen the structure
